What you need

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of Mash Direct Mashed Turnip/Swede
  • 1 packet of Mash Direct Honey Glazed Parsnips
  • 1 packet of Mash Direct Colcannon
  • 1 packet of Mash Direct Roast Potatoes
  • 1 packet of Mash Direct Carrot & Parsnip
  • 1 roast of beef (approx 3 - 4 lbs)
  • 1 dsp thyme and parsley
  • 2 onions (coarsely chopped)
  • 125ml stock

Recipe method

Preheat the over to 190◦C, 375◦F, Gas Mark 5.

Place the roast of beef into a foil lined roasting dish. Pour over the oil and coat with coarsely chopped herbs, pat down well.

Add chopped onion around the roast, a little stock and cook in the oven for approximately 1 hour. Cooking time will vary with how rare you like your meat cooked.

Cook the Mash Direct potatoes and vegetables according to packet instructions.

Using a fork, lightly toss the Mashed Turnip and Carrot & Parsnip and serve!
