Mother's Day Smoked Salmon & Potato Cakes

What you need

Ingredients

  • 1 packet of Mash Direct Potato Cakes
  • 3 slices of good quality smoked salmon
  • 2 heaped teaspoons soured cream
  • 1 bunch fresh chives
  • 1 lemon
  • Sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Recipe method

Heat the Mash Direct Potato Cakes as per packet instructions.

Once the Potato Cakes are cooked and crispy, remove from the oven and pop onto a plate.

Top the Potato Cakes with smoked salmon and season as desired – we recommend squeezing a wedge of lemon over the dish and sprinkling with sea salt and black pepper.

Finish with a dollop of sour cream, garnish with chives and enjoy!
