1 pack of Mash Direct Brocolli with a Cheese Sauce
3 Chicken Breasts
100ml Chicken Stock Cube
1 tsp Dried Basil Leaves
3 tsp Milk
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 small Onion
1 sheet Puff Pastry
10g Plain Flour
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Pepper
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Heat the butter in a pan and add the diced chicken, onion and basil - cook for a few minutes until the chicken has sealed.
Season with salt and pepper then add flour to thicken the sauce. Allow to simmer for a few minutes then reduce to a medium heat, proceed to add the chicken stock gradually and cook for a further 10 minutes.
Cook the Broccoli with a Cheese Sauce as per packet instructions and once cooked, add to the pan. Cook the mixture for 2-3 minutes.
Add the milk to thicken the sauce.
Now comes the pie top! Roll out your sheet of puff pastry (ensure it covers the pie). Flour the chopping board and pastry - now it's time to get creative!
Cut your 'monster' face into the pastry then gently lay the pastry over the pie and cut away any rough edges. Brush with milk so that it goes golden in the oven.
Place the pie in the oven for 20 mins until golden brown.
Serve with veggies or salad and our Beer Battered Chips to complete this spooktacular family favourite!
