Shredded Duck Bites with Pea Purée

A perfect starter for your festive meal

What you need

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of Mash Direct Shredded Duck Bites
  • 500g frozen peas
  • Tenderstem Broccoli
  • Green Beans

Recipe method

Cook the Mash Direct Shredded Duck Bites as per packet instructions.

Cook the peas in a saucepan of boiling water for 2 or 3 minutes, or until tender. Drain. Cook the Broccoli and Green Beans.

Pour the peas into a large bowl. Using a blender or food processor, blitz the peas and a little water. Blend for 2-3 minutes, until fairly thick.

Tip into a fine sieve and use back of the ladle to push it through – giving a silky smooth finish.

Season with salt and pepper and serve with Shredded Duck Bites, topped with green vegetables.
