Recipe method

For the Starter:

Pre-heat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4.

For the balsamic tomatoes, toss together the tomatoes, garlic, balsamic vinegar and olive oil on a large rimmed baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper and roast for 20 to 25 minutes, until the tomatoes are tender.

Remove the outer sleeve and film lid of Mash Direct’s Potato Cheese and Onion Croquettes. Place the container onto a baking tray in the centre of the pre-heated oven and cook for 18-20 minutes.

Slice the Parma ham into thin slices and place onto a baking tray. Cook in the oven for 5 minutes.

To serve, place the Potato Cheese and Onion Croquettes onto each plate along with the balsamic tomatoes and Parma ham and top with a handful of fresh rocket.

For the Main Course:

Pre-heat the oven to 200˚C/400⁰F/Gas Mark 6.

Rub the steak all over with olive oil and a good pinch of salt and black pepper.

Remove all packaging from Mash Direct’s Salt and Chilli Wedges. Spread the wedges out evenly on a baking tray and place in the centre of the oven to cook for 25-30 minutes.

Remove all packaging from Mash Direct’s Beer Battered Onion Rings and place the onion rings on a baking tray in the centre of the oven. Cook for 15-18 minutes.

Add the steak to a hot pan, cooking for 6 minutes for medium-rare, or to your liking, turning every minute.

To prepare the Red Cabbage and Beetroot, remove the outer sleeve and pierce the film lid several times. Microwave for 3 minutes. Stir thoroughly, leave to stand for 1 minute and serve.

Serve on a warm plate with tomato salsa and enjoy with a glass of prosecco

For Dessert:

Dessert of your choice. We recommend a delicious lemon tart served with fresh berries to balance the meal and cleanse the palate.
