We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for 3 prestigious awards this month!! Our Beer Battered Onion Rings are leading the way as finalists in the Grocer New Product Awards for 2019, we are finalists in the Gluten Free Category in the Great British Food Awards and we have also been shortlisted as a finalist in the Rural Business Awards for Best Rural Food or Drink Business 2019.

The Grocer New Product Awards will kick off the first of the award ceremonies in a glittering event this October in London. The awards celebrate and reward outstanding innovation in the UK FMCG sector in both non-food and food categories and have become a symbol of the greatest innovations that have hit the shelves over the last 12 months.

Our Beer Battered Onion Rings will take to the stage and we hope everyone at the Grocer loves them as much as we do!

The Great British Food Awards have an impressive selection of celebrity chefs and food personalities with the likes of Raymond Blanc, John Torode, Monica Galetti and Michel Roux Jr judging the various categories and giving their food for thought.

We are delighted that our Beer Battered Chips have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Gluten Free category and can’t wait to see if we have been successful when the winners are announced in the November issue of Great British Food Magazine.

Finally, we will battle it out against fellow rural businesses for Rural Food or Drink Business of the Year at the Rural Business Awards this November. The Awards celebrate the achievements of rural businesses and aim to develop a strong network for rural business owners to help create a nurturing environment where rural businesses can develop and grow.

We are very excited to attend the regional final in November and fingers crossed we make the national final!

Chief Operating Officer, Jack Hamilton said “Being shortlisted for these awards is a testament to the hard work the whole team put in year on year to maintain high quality standards while growing our range of products. It is amazing to get recognition for what we are doing here in County Down and it would be a great boost to win any of these prestigious awards.”
