Irish Spice Bag

Crispy salt and chilli chicken with beer battered chips - our take on an irish spice bag!

What you need

Ingredients

  • 1 x Mash Direct Beer Battered Chips
  • 1 x Rosie and Jim Salt and Chilli Shredded Chicken
  • 2 peppers
  • Half a red onion
  • Spring onion
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp chinese 5 spice
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Mcdonnells curry sauce

Recipe method

1. Place the Beer Battered Chips in the air fryer for 12–15 minutes, turning halfway through.

2. Air fry the Rosie & Jim shredded chicken for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown.

3. Slice the peppers, onions, and spring onions, then add them to a wok. Cook on high heat for around 10 minutes, then set aside.

4. Mix together all the spices in a separate bowl.

5. Make the curry sauce according to the pack instructions.

6. Once the chips and chicken are ready, return the wok to the heat. Add the chicken and chips to the cooked vegetables, sprinkle in the spice mix, and stir until well combined.

7. Plate up, sprinkle with extra spring onions, and pour over the curry sauce.
