Stock Controller

Location: Comber (easily commutable from Dundonald, Newtownards, Belfast and Bangor)

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £29,000.00 – £34,000.00 per year

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Role

Mash Direct is recruiting an experienced Stock Controller to coordinate stock movements and inventory accuracy within our fast-paced production and despatch environment. This hands-on role involves monitoring stock rotation, reporting discrepancies, and supporting warehouse operations to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

What You Will Be Doing

– Maintain and book in accurate stock levels

– Record and report waste figures and stock discrepancies

– Manage regular rotation of inventory using FIFO

– Perform daily and random stock checks and full stock takes

– Ensure accurate labelling and safe storage

– Communicate waste and stock reports to management

– Investigate discrepancies thoroughly and support audits

– Support Despatch team with picking orders when required

Skills and Experience

– Previous experience in a stock control or warehouse role

– High attention to detail, numeracy, and accuracy

– Strong reporting and organisation skills

– Confident using inventory systems and Microsoft Excel

– Ability to work cross-functionally with Despatch and Warehouse teams

– Flexible and reliable with strong communication skills
