At Mash Direct, we’re recognised for our tasty, award-winning farm-to-fork, gluten-free mash and vegetable side dishes. As an innovative and growing food producer, we are hiring for a newly created position within our Technical Team.

Compliance & Regulatory Manager

In this key role, you will ensure all our products and processes meet relevant food legislation, regulatory requirements and customer standards. From managing product specifications and supplier compliance to food labelling and keeping ahead of legislative changes, you will play a vital role in protecting and enhancing our brand’s reputation. Your role will ensure robust traceability systems and documentation are maintained to support customer audits.

Criteria:

– Qualified to third level in a relevant discipline

– Level 3 HACCP qualification

– Level 3 Internal Auditing for Manufacturing

– Experience in a technical or compliance role within the food manufacturing industry

– Strong knowledge of UK/EU food regulations and labelling laws

– Ability to interpret complex legislation and translate it into practical business application

– Proficient in managing specifications and working with retailer portals

– Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions

– Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and documentation abilities
