We’re thrilled to announce a brand-new charity partnership between Mash Direct and Action Mental Health a collaboration that brings together two organisations passionate about making a real difference in the lives of others.
As part of this exciting new partnership, we’ll be working closely with Action Mental Health to introduce a range of workplace wellbeing initiatives aimed at supporting mental health and promoting a positive working environment. From awareness campaigns and events to valuable fundraising opportunities, Mash Direct is proud to play a part in helping AMH continue their vital work across Northern Ireland.
To kick things off, we were delighted to welcome the Action Mental Health team to our family farm in Comber for a ‘Walk & Talk’ event with Mash Direct staff. Led by our Farm Manager, Gary Adams, the walk gave colleagues the chance to step away from their desks, get some fresh air, and connect with one another, while learning more about the incredible services AMH provides.
This simple yet powerful event served as a reminder of how small moments in nature and conversation can make a big impact on our wellbeing.
Head of People and Culture, Julie Hetherington, shares the significance of the partnership and the positive impact it will have on staff wellbeing:
“Partnering with a charity is extremely beneficial for the business, especially Action Mental Health, as it provides that extra support and reassurance for employees. If they are struggling and need to talk to someone, they are aware of the services not just in the workplace but in the local area.”
This marks the beginning of a meaningful journey for both Mash Direct and Action Mental Health. Together, we’re committed to creating a culture of openness, compassion, and resilience, not only in the workplace, but throughout the wider community.
