2015 Highlights

Earlier this year we had very exciting news for gluten allergy/intolerance sufferers as we announced that all our products are now gluten-free

We were delighted to sponsor the Scotland v Ireland Six Nations in March!

The Balmoral Show 2015 certainly did not disappoint! We were in the Food NI Pavilion and the Mash Bus sampling our tasty treats and enjoying the phenomenal atmosphere! We had some additional news to announce as we picked up the prestigious Brand Innovation Award from Henderson's for our Vegetable Burgers.

The Mash Direct team took part in the first ever 'Wellies to Work Day' launched by Rural Support – just a normal day at Mash HQ!

We attended the Royal Highland Show in June. With a record breaking 188,449 visitors the Mash team had a fun-filled and action-packed four days! The show was most definitely an eclectic mix of the expected and unexpected!

We made lots and lots of memories this summer at the Tall Ships Belfast

We were proud sponsors of the Comber Potato 10K Road Race alongside the Potato Festival. The 10K run was the first road race in Comber for 31 years organised by Ballydrain Harriers.

The Mash team attended the Great Yorkshire Show for the very first in July.

The Mash team attended A Taste of Cavan for the first time this year. We had an amazing two days at the event! Over the course of the Friday and Saturday we were sampling and selling a range of our products, enjoying the wonderful atmosphere and even bumping into celebrity chef, Kevin Dundon.

We had an amazing time at this year’s Tesco Taste Festival. It was a fantastic weekend celebrating our favourite food and drink from across Northern Ireland.

We were delighted to announce that our Vegetable Burgers won the Vegetarian Sausages & Burgers category at The Grocer New Product Awards in October.

In October the Mash team supported breast cancer awareness month by taking part in the Wear PINK to Work campaign. The team had a PINK Afternoon Tea Party for Cancer Focus NI to raise money for Breast Cancer research. We raised a fantastic £732.50 to help local cancer patients and their families.

Jack was named Top New Talent by The Grocer! With over 3 million people in the food industry it is a huge accolade to be awarded this honour by the most influential publication in the food retail industry. Well done Jack!

Tracy Hamilton was awarded Outstanding Businesswoman of the Year at the Women in Business Awards. The Women in Business Awards celebrates the significant contribution to the economy made by female entrepreneurs and women-led businesses in Northern Ireland. Fantastic achievement! Well done Tracy!

Our Carrot and Parsnip as well as our Carrot, Turnip and Parsnip both won Great Taste Awards from the Guild of Fine Foods.

 The BIGGEST Highlight
