Location: Comber / Dundonald

Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.55–£17.00 per hour (45 hours per week)

About the Role

At Mash Direct, we are seeking a Waste Water Operative to join our Water & Sustainability team. This is a vital role that supports the drainage systems and water treatment operations on-site to keep production running smoothly and safely.

What your job is all about

– Carrying out drain clearance and deep cleaning tasks across the factory

– Maintaining internal and external drainage systems and wastewater equipment

– Monitoring grease traps and gullies for performance and blockages

– Supporting with cleaning shutdowns and deep cleans

– Using high-pressure jetting and cleaning equipment

– Recording and reporting any faults, ensuring documentation is complete

– Following health & safety and food safety protocols at all times

What we’re looking for

– Experience in waste water, drainage or industrial cleaning (food factory preferred)

– Familiarity with cleaning equipment and confined space tasks

– Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

– Knowledge of health & safety and ability to work independently

– Flexibility for occasional Saturday work and urgent call-outs

Desirable

– Forklift licence or similar site vehicle experience
