Job Title: Yard Person

What your job is all about:   

To carry out general duties around the Mash Direct site.

Who you are:

You will ideally have some previous experience of doing this job, be a good communicator, with good time management skills, a can-do attitude and exceptional attention to detail.

You will also be able to work in organised, safe and flexible manner and possibly have:

• A Forklift licence (Counterbalance)
• Manual Handling Training
• CCP Licence (Lorry Driving)

What you will be doing:

Your job will be varied and typical activities will include:

• Outdoor Site Litter Collection

• Brushing and tidying the tunnel, back of the factory & office area

• Cleaning the work shop and take items to the skip

• Replenishing Water Stations [Water Bottles 19L]

• Van pick-ups, loading and delivering materials by lorry

• Using a variety of tools and machines such as forklifts, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment

• Ad hoc maintenance tasks
