What your job is all about:       


As a National Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for planning and fulfilling appropriate sales activities to meet and exceed short, medium- and long-term sales, volume and profit targets and building strong commercial relationships with customers to deliver our Sales Delivery & Growth Plan in Ireland.


Your role will be crucial in providing the main point of contact between the Mash Direct and our customers.

Ideally you will also have:


– Previous experience of doing this job and a proven ability to deliver commercial success, deploying category leadership and delivering national listings with grocery accounts

– Successful achievements as a NAM/SNAM

– The ability to divide your time effectively between supporting existing customers and new ones

– The ability to drive a high SKU range with flexibility & a consultative approach

– A highly motivated and result driven approach

– Excellent negotiation and influencing skills

– A relevant degree or equivalent

– Excellent IT Skills

– A full driving licence


What you will be doing:


Your job will be varied, and typical activities should include:


– Maintaining and developing key accounts and key markets

– Calling on existing customers to ensure shelf presence, as well as bring on new customers

– Promoting products that outlets are not currently listing

– Planning and briefing tasting teams to support product sampling and promotion plans in stores

– Working closely with the existing team in Ireland and head office to feedback insights and align activities

– Reacting quickly to marketplace changes and trends

– Making sure the public perception of our products is favourable

– Attending Trade Shows and Events to develop business to business sales opportunities

– Investigating and resolving queries and issues raised by national accounts, reacting quickly and professionally to keep the customer happy

– Working closely with the NPD, Technical, Finance, Marketing & Despatch teams to meet customer demands for new products

– Monitoring and reporting monthly on sales activities and provide relevant sales information in comparison to targets

– Liaising with the team and attending meetings to help with business and sales development

– Developing and implementing pricing and commercial strategies

– €40,000.00-€47,000.00 per year
