IT Support Engineer

What the job is all about:

 

Contributing to the provision of a broad range of technical support services within the organisation

 

Who you are: 

You will ideally have some previous experience of doing this job, be a good communicator, with good time management skills, a can-do attitude and exceptional attention to detail.

Ideally you will also have:

  • HND or higher in an IT related subject
  • 1+ year IT Support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Servers
  • PC / Laptop hardware configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience in the use of a range of technologies including Microsoft 365
  • Experience with asset/stock control

What you will be doing:

 

  • Providing 1st and 2nd Line Support both onsite / remotely
  • Managing 3rd party providers
  • Helpdesk Management
  • Installation, Configuration and Support of PCs, running Windows 7/10
  • Troubleshooting both hardware /software/ network connectivity issues on PCs/Printers/Cameras
  • Determining proper escalation path for non-resolved issues.
  • Setting up and implementing Microsoft 365 functionality across the business
