Last night the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Theresa Villiers MP, commended Mash Direct and offered us her congratulations on our continued success.  Speaking at the Northern Ireland Independent Retail Trade Association Christmas Reception, she highlighted the importance of local businesses and the entrepreneurial attitude which has made Mash Direct what it is today.

After her speech, Tracy and Jack spoke to the Secretary of State about our products, our farm and our passion for good, traditional food.  She was so impressed that she took a goodie bag of our Christmas range back to Hillsborough after the event.

The Secretary of State is not the first Westminster voice to single out the success story of Mash Direct.  Prime Minister David Cameron has visited the farm as well as Secretary Villiers' predecessor as Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Owen Paterson.  We are becoming very adept at shaking hands!
