Mash Direct are proud to announce that from today
we will be carrying traffic light colour coding on the front of
all of our product packaging. Recommended by the Food Standards
Agency, the traffic light colours allow people to see at a glance,
if products have high, medium or low amounts of fat, saturated fat,
sugars and salt.
Martin Hamilton, owner of Mash Direct says, "We've
introduced the traffic light labelling system on all our Mash Direct
products so that customers can see very quickly the levels they
contain and this should help them to make healthy choices."
Martin continues, "We are particularly proud that
our products bear mostly green lights. Our customers should rest
assured that in choosing a Mash Direct product as part of a main
meal, they are not only making a healthy choice but a convenient
one too!"
