Mullahead Ploughing Competition – 24th February
2007
Well, what an event! We knew from talking
to the organisers and the Tesco people that it would be an extremely
busy day, but we had no idea how busy! It was so much fun, us girls
got to wear our wellies, although, we’ve never seen so much
muck.
We couldn’t decide which photos we should include so thought
we’d let you see them all, just click below to view slide
show…and no, there’s no mud wrestling pics!

Winner of the Mash Potato Sculpting
Competition, Madoc Paul and Andrew Murphy,
winner of the spud throwing competition with Cliff Kells, Tesco
NI
Madoc drove off on his new John Deere and Andrew
is now the proud owner of a new DVD player.

Catex – National
Catering Exhibition
RDS - 26th, 27th & 28th February 2007
Catex is Ireland’s premier trade fair for
the food and catering industries and is a perfect showcase for the
launch of new products. And that’s exactly what we did…
in association with Pallas Foods (www.pallasfoods.com)
we launched our range of mash – so our catering sizes are
now available through them.
“Next Day Gourmet
For The Foodservice Industry”
Pallas Foods are a family owned and
managed business, solely dedicated to the foodservice industry on
this island; they have recently branched into the UK market as well.
They have a first class delivery system and a fantastic sales team
– we know, because we worked with them all at the show, it
was a great few days – thanks to you all, we really enjoyed
it. Any of you who visited Pallas’s stand will have got the
‘wow’ factor that we all experienced, we thought we
were on a little boulevard in Paris!

Patrick Clement (Pallas), Joanne
Moore, Jennifer Shaw, Mary Mullin (Mash Direct),
Alasdair McInnes (Pallas). ‘Pallas Green’, Catex 2007.
