It’s been an eventful year full of positive developments for the prospects of Mash Direct, including the acquisition of new customers abroad as well as the development of our factory, and next year promises to be even more momentous! Accordingly, we have blown the dust off our old website given it a face-lift and retooling it to better accommodate all of the news, information, events surrounding the company making it easier to learn who we are and what we do. It’s always good to hear feedback from our customers so please feel free to send us an email with any suggestions you might have.

Autumn on the Farm

We can’t pretend anymore. Autumn’s here and Summer’s gone for another year (actually, Summer never came in the first place). But rather than sulk by the radiator, we’re embracing this rather bracing season instead, After one of the wettest summers on record our farm team led by Gary (our Farm Manager) has been braving the elements to get the vegetables from the field to our factory. It has been fairly intense with long spells of wind and rain making life difficult but our new season vegetables are said to be the best yet. Modern days farming is very much a professional business which we take very seriously, we are fully Quality Assured and in our 2008 Audit the Farm passed with a score of 100%.

Here at Mash Direct we realize that when you have had a long day you just feel like something quick and easy, well instead of rummaging around for the take away menu why not try our new Broccoli, Leeks and Garlic Potatoes (see our products section) to make the cold months much more enjoyable if your still not feeling the love for autumn at least warm up those numb toes if nothing else.

Advertising

Mash Direct are pleased to announce the launch of our Radio advert which is to be launched from Monday 20th October for four weeks up until Sunday 16th November on Cork 96 FM. Other campaigns are planned in the near future for Dublin’s FM 104 as well as Downtown Radio and Cool FM in Northern Ireland. We hope to increase brand awareness which will hopefully mean that more of you become aware of our full range of products. Have a listen and see what you think! - Click here to listen to advert

We have also purchased a double-decker bus branded it in very distinctive and innovative graphics which will further drive brand recognition. The bus attends events and shows all around Ireland, serving delicious Mash Direct Mashed Potato and wholesome mashed vegetables with amazing local sausages! It can operate stand alone and provides its own power with a generator. There is music inside and out and an optional marquee to make sure that event guests stay dry. For more information check out our bus link.

Here at Mash Direct we hold farming close to our hearts. As the factory sited in the midst of the farm it allows us to harvest and cook the vegetables within 24 hours. The factory and farm work hand in hand thus guaranteeing optimum freshness of raw produce and a finished product packed full of flavour. Modern days farming is very much a professional business which we take very seriously, we are fully Quality Assured and in our 2008 Audit the Farm passed with a score of 100%.
